"Are these runners ultra-tough or ultra-crazy?" asks Jonah Keri in his article on ESPN (via: A trail runner's blog). From personal experience, you have to be a bit of both. As popular belief goes, no sane person in their right mind would consider running such distances. I completely disagree with this sentiment although most people who know me probably think I have a mental problem after I tell them about the fun runs that we bloos have been doing over the last year and half.. and most of them are too nice to tell me this to my face :).
