It is heartbreaking to read about kids as young as six being pressed into serving in armed conflicts by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh. Even more deplorable is the fact that the state government is also guilty of doing the same thing, and then tries to justify its actions through flimsy arguments like citing lack of documents to verify age. Only can only begin to imagine what sort of a dark future awaits these kids, that is if they manage to make it till then.
