How much more symbolic can the so-called geopolitical shift of power get than this...the same week, almost down to the same day, that when China lauds its achievements in space.....the U.S tries to wriggle out of the biggest economic mess in history. But despite all temptations for scepticism, it would not be the wisest thing write-off the U.S. completely. Though the days of the world's only "super" power may be long gone, there are still many factors in its favor that are still fundamentally sound compared to the newer powers, most of which are still coping with some form of internal unrest or the other.
